$WAL Staking & Rewards Logic
Staking in #Walrus is unique because it directly influences the "Data Distribution" of the network. The more stake a node has, the more "slivers" it is eligible to store, and thus the more storage fees it collects.
The Reward Formula
Rewards are calculated per Epoch (approx. 24 hours to 1 week, depending on network governance). The total reward for a staker (R_s) is roughly:
R_s = \frac{S_{user}}{S_{total}} \times (Fees_{storage} + Subsidies) \times (1 - C_{node})
