🇺🇸US gathers allies to reduce dependence on China
According to Reuters, the coordinator of the new strategy is US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. On January 12, he scheduled a meeting with high-ranking officials from 12 countries, including the G7 countries, the EU, Australia, India, South Korea and Mexico. Together, these countries form about 60% of the world's demand for strategic raw materials, which gives them significant weight in the global confrontation with China.
