A wallet lost 4,556 ETH (~$12.3M) after sending to a spoofed address instead of their usual one. The scammer created a fake address matching the first and last characters, then spammed tiny "dust" transactions to poison the victim's transaction history.

The victim copied the wrong (malicious) address from recent history → funds drained instantly.
