Tether has announced the open-source release of its Bitcoin mining operating system, Mining OS (MOS). The announcement was made at the Plan ₿ 2026 forum in San Salvador.
According to the company, MOS is a ready to use and scalable system designed to manage mining hardware, energy consumption, and operational processes within a single platform.
☝️ Paolo Ardoino stated that Mining OS is “a full fledged operating platform that can scale from a home setup to an industrial facility.”
