Many people are used to using the Aptos/Sui chain to withdraw USDT and USDC when withdrawing from exchanges because of low fees (or zero fees) and fast confirmation speeds.
Remember this:
1️⃣🚫 Aptos ≠ Sui; they are two completely different chains.
Although the addresses may look like 0x... and have similar formats, they are completely incompatible.
🔺 Not interchangeable! Not interchangeable! Not interchangeable!
❌ You cannot transfer USDT/USDC/xBTC from Aptos to a Sui address.
❌ The reverse is also not possible.
❌ Once transferred to the wrong address = burn your coins = permanent loss, irrecoverable.
