Trading Indicators: Helpful Maps or Just Noise?
If you’ve ever looked at a crypto price chart, you’ve probably seen lots of colorful lines and wavy graphs. Those are indicators, and they are like the "weather forecast" for crypto.
For Beginners: What are they?
In simple English, indicators are tools that look at past price movements to help guess where the price might go next.
Think of it like driving a car:
The Price is your windshield (what's happening right now).
Indicators are your GPS and mirrors (giving you extra info about the road ahead and behind).
One of the most popular ones is the RSI (Relative Strength Index). It’s like a "fever thermometer" for a coin. If the number is too high (over 70), the coin might be "overheated" (too many people bought it). If it’s very low (under 30), it might be "oversold" (people might start buying soon).
