The last bear is “me”
Warren Buffett, the legendary investor, famously said, Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful. Its been around a month the market buckled under the weight of that epic operation of fury. Back then, the vibe was pure panic. Binance was a sea of big grizzlies bears everywhere you looked. The bulls scattered like they had seen a ghost, and we mowed them down one by one.
At first, the bears cheered. Its over, the market is doomed. they screamed. They called for a “SaaSpocalypse” and told everyone to short everything in sight.,
But our victory lap was cut short. Slowly, the tide began to turn. The bulls crawled back from what looked like a catastrophic defeat. In sheer confusion, the bears started crying, Oil prices are up, why is the market still green. This makes no sense, its so unfair. I watched as their short positions disintegrated into nothing, while the bulls feasted on the reversal.
Slowly but surely, the bulls reclaimed the retail land. Binance is now buzzing with them, mocking the bears over their total collapse. The bears themselves. Nowhere to be seen. Their portfolios were scorched by their own stubbornness.
Im one of the few left. My allies have all vanished. But as Napoleon once said, My enemies are few, my equals are none because honestly., nobody is committed to the bear case quite like I am.
As I sit here in my hideout, watching the bulls celebrate Im rocking back and forth in my chair, whispering to myself. The crash is coming. Anytime now. Im still holding onto that prophecy, waiting for the legendary trade man’s words to finally come true., before all that a fresh morning walk after a breakfast is healthy too.
