What makes this roadmap more interesting is that it is not being framed as a simple patch. Ripple describes it as a full migration strategy for live financial infrastructure. The first phase is essentially a Q-Day contingency layer: if current signature systems are ever broken, XRPL wants a secure recovery path that could let users migrate funds to post-quantum-safe accounts.
