Why AMD doesn't work fully — and how to fix it
You know about AMD. Accumulation, Manipulation, Distribution.
But most traders make one mistake: they think that Distribution is the end of the cycle. It's not.
After D, the market always makes a choice. And this is where trades get lost.
AMDX — full cycle
A — Accumulation
Big players quietly accumulate positions. The price stands still. Boring. Most don't pay attention.
M — Manipulation
Stop hunting in both directions. The market makes you doubt your position.
D — Distribution
Main movement. This is where the position of big players is realized.
X — decision point
After D, the market chooses one of two scenarios:
→ Continuation — the impulse continues. Stay in the trade.
→ Reversal — the price returns. Lock in profits.
How to read X on the chart
Look at the price behavior after D at key liquidity levels. If the price easily breaks through the level and holds — Continuation. If it stops, forms a rebound, and volume drops — Reversal.
It's not magic. It's the market structure that can be read on any timeframe.
