I didn't think that the post I wrote about RAVE yesterday would get so much interaction. To be honest, I just wrote exactly what I was thinking at that moment — whatever I thought, I wrote, no edits, no embellishments.
I'm just an ordinary trader. I've been trading for 6 years, going through all kinds of markets. Especially with these "junk" stocks, I've been up and down because of shorting, due to stubbornly holding onto positions. Those lessons are not something you read and understand — they are paid for with real money. And that's why I've gradually woken up, changed my mindset, and finally achieved some stability like I have now.
Some people say: "Making a few profits and then teaching others."
Yeah, they can think whatever they want. I'm not here to flaunt my PnL or prove that I'm good. If I needed a facade, I would have done it differently.
What I want to convey is not just about a few profits and losses. It lies in the mistakes I've made, and the price I've paid to understand the issues. If you only look at each PnL and overlook those things, sooner or later, you will pay the tuition just like I did.
This market is not short of people who are right, but it lacks those who survive long enough.
And what kills many people the most is not the market — but their own obstinacy.
I'm not sure if what I say is true for everyone. But if I can help a few newcomers in the market avoid losing foolish money, then that’s enough for me.
