Well, after spending 1.5+ years in the markets, hereโs EXACTLY what I would do if I started again from scratch:
๐ง 1) Master the Basics FIRST
Most beginners jump into trading without knowing anything.
If I were to start again, I would spend WEEKS mastering the foundational basics of trading and crypto markets โ understanding how markets move, what makes price change, and all essential concepts like:

Supply & Demand
โ
Trend Lines
๐ฏ 2) Pick ONE Proven Strategy & Stick to It
The BIGGEST mistake I made was hopping from one strategy to another whenever one failed. ๐ซ
If I could start again, Iโd choose ONE proven strategy and master it through thousands of chart replays.
Personally, I prefer Smart Money Concepts (SMC) โ but choose what aligns with your psychology.
๐ 3) Backtest & Demo Trade Religiously
Before risking real money, I would:

Backtest my strategy deeply on TradingView (premium lets you replay historical data โ worth it!)

Demo trade LIVE markets to build confidence

Journal EVERYTHING โ entries, exits, emotions, mistakes, improvements ๐โ๏ธ
๐ธ 4) Go Live / Buy a Prop Firm Challenge
Once I am confident, I would:

Open a small live trading account to gain real market experience

OR buy a prop firm challenge like FTMO if I want to scale fast (only if confident in my strategy & discipline).
Having real trade records is the ultimate teacher. You see your growth, mistakes, and patterns.
