Key aspects of Caldera (ERA) and its launch Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS) Platform: Caldera is a platform that simplifies the launching of custom, high-performance rollups, which are essentially mini-blockchains designed to scale and optimize Web3 applications built on frameworks like Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, and ZKsync. Metalayer: Caldera is evolving beyond its RaaS model by introducing the "Metalayer", an interoperability protocol that connects different rollups into a unified network, fostering shared liquidity and facilitating cross-chain operations. ERA Token: The ERA token is the native utility and governance token of the Caldera ecosystem. It is used for gas fees, staking, and participation in governance decisions. The total supply is capped at 1 billion tokens, with an initial circulating supply of 148.5 million ERA (14.85%) at the time of its Binance listing. The token distribution includes allocations for a retroactive airdrop, the team and advisors, investors and treasury, and ecosystem incentives. Exchange Listings and Airdrop: Binance announced Caldera (ERA) as its 27th HODLer Airdrop project, distributing 20 million ERA tokens to eligible BNB holders who subscribed to Simple Earn products between July 1-5, 2025. Binance opened spot trading for ERA on July 17, 2025, at 15:30 UTC, supporting trading pairs including ERA/USDT, ERA/USDC, ERA/BNB, ERA/FDUSD, and ERA/TRY. Bybit also listed Caldera (ERA) on its Spot trading platform with deposits opening on July 17, 2025, and trading starting at 3:30PM UTC. Upbit, a major South Korean exchange, subsequently listed Caldera (ERA) for trading against KRW, BTC, and USDT starting on July 18, 2025, at 00:30 KST. Launch Promotions: To encourage user engagement, Binance launched an "ERA Trading Challenge" with a total prize pool of 6,000,000 ERA in token vouchers through three promotional events running from July 17 to July 31, 2025. These promotions include exclusive offers for new users, rewards for all users who trade ERA, and a trading volume tournament. #BinanceHODLerERA
