‼️ Google updates requirements for crypto apps in the Play Store
Crypto exchanges without official licenses will no longer be able to access the marketplace.
👉 In the U.S., apps must be registered with FinCEN and hold the relevant state licenses or operate as part of a bank.
👉 In the EU, developers must obtain the status of a crypto-asset service provider (CASP) under the MiCA regulation.
The changes aim to enhance the security and regulatory compliance of apps.
