According to Foresight News, Monex Group Chairman Oki Matsumoto shared insights at WebX Asia 2025, forecasting that most financial transactions will be conducted on blockchain platforms in the future. He likened this shift to the digitization of paper securities, suggesting that everything will eventually be tokenized.

Matsumoto also commented on Japan's regulatory environment, noting that in the era of artificial intelligence, global access to services has become easier, highlighting Japan's outdated regulatory framework.
