What is LINEA?
LINEA is a native token of the Linea network (zkEVM), a layer 2 solution for Ethereum developed by ConsenSys. This network aims to scale Ethereum with faster transactions, lower costs, and full compatibility with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). Additionally, it includes a deflationary burn mechanism to promote scarcity.
Binance included LINEA as part of its HODLer Airdrops program (project number 37), aimed at users who held BNB in Simple Earn products during the period from August 25 to August 28, 2025.
The opening of LINEA deposits began on September 9, 2025, at 14:00 UTC, while the listing for trading on the spot market is scheduled for September 10, 2025, at 16:00 UTC.
There will be several pairs available: USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY.

Binance launched a trading challenge to celebrate the launch of LINEA. The campaign will be active from September 10 (15:00 UTC) to September 24 (15:00 UTC), with a prize pool of 90 million LINEA in vouchers.
Users will be able to join different modalities according to their status (new or regular) and level of activity.
It is important to clarify that the listing already has an official date and time: September 10 at 16:00 UTC. And there will be a small wait until spot operations are fully active.
Many anticipate that, after the announcement and the listing on Binance, the price could initially rise and then correct — a common trend in previous launches.
