This week's market has been tumultuous, but trading requires persistence; however, blind persistence is just stubbornness. Finding a balance between 'holding on' and 'admitting mistakes' is the highest embodiment of trading wisdom. In the cryptocurrency market, traders often fall into two extremes:
Stubbornly holding on: convinced they are right, regardless of how the market develops, never admitting defeat until their capital is exhausted.
Admitting mistakes too early: hastily closing positions at the slightest market movement, clearly on the right track but missing profits due to a lack of patience.
Both extremes can trap traders in difficulties: the former may lead to liquidation, while the latter is prone to falling into a vicious cycle of 'small wins, big losses.' True experts can find that subtle balance between persistence and flexibility.
The wisdom of trading lies not in always holding on, nor in admitting mistakes at any moment, but in knowing when to persist and when to admit mistakes.
Starting Monday with a low long strategy, Ethereum took profits of 43 and 42 points with two low longs. Bitcoin took profits of 897 and 1365 points with high and low longs respectively. On Tuesday morning, still optimistic about the low long, again taking profits of 1428 and 55 points in Bitcoin and Ethereum respectively. In the evening, seeing the market was not favorable, turned around to short, once again taking 36 points of profit in Ethereum. On Wednesday, based on market trends, still bullish, taking profits of 672, 1011, and 103 points in Bitcoin and Ethereum respectively. On Thursday, seeing market fluctuations, entered with a short position and ended up being harvested with a profit of 24 points. In the evening, again bearish, taking 38 points of profit. Bitcoin's evening short position also took a profit of 581 points. On Friday, the market fluctuated little, with Ethereum entering a high short position, taking a profit of 34 points.
When the direction is right, efforts are multiplied. Opportunities won't always wait for you; only you can seize them. The market is the same.
