A small but important reminder for traders.
Starting Monday (March 9), the opening time of the American markets will change.
The USA is transitioning to daylight saving time, so the NYSE and Nasdaq will open an hour earlier.
The main American session will now take place from 15:30 to 22:00 (UTC+2).
Let me quickly remind you of the three key trading sessions:
Asian — approximately 03:00–12:00
European — approximately 10:00–19:00
American — 15:30–22:00
It is the overlap between Europe and the USA that traditionally provides the highest liquidity and the strongest movements in the same $BTC or $ETH market.
Therefore, starting Monday, volatility may begin a bit earlier than many traders are used to.
Sometimes one missed time shift costs more than a failed trade.
