Everyone is complaining: 'the market is weak', 'alts are not growing', 'we got shaved again'.
Do you even understand why you got shaved? Or is it just easier to pretend that 'you were unlucky'?
After the collapse of FTX, this whole story began, which for some reason almost no one talks about. Huge volumes of blocked tokens started to be sold essentially 'on credit' — pay now, get later. And the smart money went in first.
Hedge funds were just buying all of this at a wild discount, hedging through shorts — and making themselves almost risk-free returns. While you sat and waited for the 'alt season' 🤡
And you know what the most frustrating thing is?
You weren't even sold off on spot. You were sold off through derivatives. Carefully, systematically, beautifully. While you believed in 'growth'.
All this 'alpha' that everyone is chasing — it has left you. It has gone to those who played at a different level.
And yes, the unpleasant truth:
in 2023–2025, the market resembled not so much investments, but a casino. Just a casino where you don't know the rules.
One thing I understood clearly:
if you are not an insider — you are either playing by someone else's rules or becoming liquidity.
That's why personally I... just continue to hold the base and don't venture into areas where I am obviously outplayed.
Sometimes it's better to be boring than to become someone else's profit again.
