Many of us have been mining on Pi Network for a while, waiting for the big step to the Open Mainnet. But there is a "bottleneck" that frustrates thousands: the KYC.
Today I decided to take a step beyond just mining and activated myself as a KYC Validator in the Pi Browser. 🧐 My goal is clear: to help speed up the network and understand why so many processes remain in "infinite review."
After my first validations, here are 3 Key Tips to ensure your KYC is NOT rejected:
📸 Clarity is EVERYTHING: The system blurs your sensitive data to protect us, but we (humans) must confirm that the photo of your ID matches your "proof of life." If your profile picture is blurry, dark, or old, the AI will flag you and the human validator will have doubts. Use good lighting!
🪪 Correct Document: It seems obvious, but if you select "Passport" and upload your ID Card/DNI, the system will bounce you back. Make sure that the physical document you have in hand EXACTLY matches the option you chose in the app.
⏳ Patience with Language and Region: Validations are assigned by region. If there are few active validators in your country or language at a given time, your process will take longer, even if it's perfect. Do not constantly resend the request, as this sometimes restarts the turn.
Being a validator is "ant work," but essential. We protect the network from bots so that, when the moment for real exchange arrives (perhaps right here on Binance 😉), the value of Pi is solid.
