Today I have opened Binance Square knowing that I do not have a specific plan only begin scrolling in a random manner. I somehow found myself reading posts again by @Pixels and it gave me a reminder of how insignificant something might seem in the day to day but how over time it can become a significant thing. It was not as though it was a great discovery but rather a silent conviction about which I are not overly conscious.

The initial one when I had my first job at Pixels, I did not take it seriously. I figured that I would give it and go. PIXEL, however with its linking of small chore like activities with a visible progress made me think differently over time. Every little step began to be significant.

The fact that Pixels is a reflection of the real life habits is what makes it interesting to me. You are not in a hurry, you get plans. You do not feel like getting any immediate rewards, you are persistent. Discipline is taught unknowingly and managing land and resources is easy to do. It is something that I could not imagine a Web3 game would have.

Other projects such as The Sandbox and Decentraland were looked at again too as I went through more and more. They are innovative and loaded with features but at other times, they are complex to new users. Pixels is less far fetched. That and it provides you with space to learn without any pressures.

Community surrounding #pixel is value adding and makes it even more. Individuals post their day to day advancement concepts and suggestions. It does not seem like everybody is pursuing fads. Rather, it is more of a group of users creating something together, at their own speed and this makes the experience more comfortable.

I also observed the way in which a patient is rewarded by use of PIXEL. It is not of quick profits or easy way out. It means being engaged and achieving slow progress. Such a system establishes trust in the long run, particularly those users that do not like an artificial hype but rather calm and steady.

When this time around I consider the experience with Pixels, I can imagine it as a game, but I feel that it more of a training on how to think. It can be real value that is created by consistency, patience and mere effort. And there are lessons that are quiet and which sometimes last the longest.
