After 6 months of World Cup positioning, it has finally come to an end (it's time to give up); today I sold the last 150,000 SANTOS OTC.

The loss shown in pictures alone is as high as 150,000 U; after calculating, I should have lost around 200,000 U.

Twitter was still hyping it in March, but unfortunately, CHZ was a dud; I bought during both major dips.

At CHZ's peak, there were 22 million tokens, though I publicly claimed it was only 12 million.

After a complete round of operations during this World Cup, today I liquidated all my CHZ and SANTOS positions. Final record: Overall loss of 200,000 U + position data review:
SANTOS peak holding of 350,000 tokens
CHZ peak holding of 22 million tokens
CHZ trading path:
Heavy positions in the 0.03 range → Reduced positions near 0.05 → Chased back in at 0.05 → Finally, it fell back to around 0.03, ending with a small profit.
After going back and forth, I barely preserved my principal, plus earned a bit on fees and mental loss.

SANTOS trading path:
After heavy positions, I was trapped all the way, peaking at 350,000 tokens and ultimately taking a significant loss by cutting my losses.
This part was the most painful cut in this World Cup strategy. Summary and reflection:
The World Cup concept indeed has traction, but the volatility and sustainability of fan tokens exceeded expectations. SANTOS made me deeply realize how brutal 'emotional tops' can be; it's easy to jump in, but hard to get out.
CHZ is relatively more stable, but trading back and forth is extremely taxing on my mindset and fees. I fully rode this classic 'elevator' from 0.03 to 0.05 twice.
Position management is still the biggest issue. Peak holding of 22 million CHZ + 350,000 SANTOS, with a highly volatile funding curve, my mindset has been repeatedly tortured.
Taking profits is easy, but cutting losses is way too hard. The significant loss on SANTOS was essentially due to my gambling mentality.
This World Cup positioning taught me a lesson, costing me real money.
200,000 U + tuition paid has led to a clearer understanding of the fan token space: traffic comes quickly, but leaves even faster; emotions are much stronger than fundamentals. Money can be made again, but remembering the lesson is where the real profit lies. After liquidating, I actually feel lighter.
For the next battle, I'm preparing to come back with a calmer, more disciplined mindset. Thanks to all the bros who stayed up late watching games and discussing the charts with me.
The World Cup is over, and my crypto World Cup has officially come to a close. Captain Deer
