Is OpenLedger the savior of AI blockchain, or just another vaporware project?

AI + blockchain, the hottest concept of 2024, the worst lane of 2025.

Why? Because 90% of projects have only done two things: written 'AI' in the whitepaper and shouted 'decentralization' on Twitter. As for the product? None.

@OpenLedger is no exception—at least on the surface. L2 is still in its early stages, Datanets is just getting started, and Model Factory hasn't been widely adopted yet.

But looking closely, it has one essential difference from those vaporware projects: the Proof of Attribution mechanism is genuinely verifiable.

Who contributed the data, who trained the model, who paid for the inference—all traceable on-chain, automatically distributing $OPEN . This isn't just pie in the sky; it's the logic running in code.

Polychain Capital and Borderless Capital invested $8 million in the seed round. These firms don't invest in concepts; they invest in infrastructure.

My take: OpenLedger isn't vaporware, but it’s not a guaranteed win either. It's still in the 'building the railroad' phase, and the train hasn't left the station yet. Jumping in now is an early investment, with risks and rewards amplified.

Do you think the AI blockchain lane still has potential? Or has it already gone cold? 👇
