Do people still continue with alpha?

For me, I see that alpha now is not as stable as before.

If trading volume is around 16 units/day and holding below 1000$ , then it’s about 17 units and in 15 days only getting 255 units, so receiving the highest can be 2 deals around 60-70$ , but the fees for 15 days are about 45-48$ . If not facing issues, then profit is around 15-20$ ; otherwise, it's done... As for those with high volume, the fees will also be high... this is my opinion... what do others think? I think it's a trend.
