Institutions do not "cut losses" but are "more professional than retail investors"
1. Well-known institutions = not cutting small investors? Not true
No matter who it is:
• Coinbase
• Binance
• OKX
• a16z
• Paradigm
• BlackRock
• MicroStrategy
• even Solana, Avalanche, various L2 project teams
As long as they are institutions entering the primary market, their essential purpose is only one:
Buy low → Sell high
They make money, someone has to lose money
So essentially:
If institutions don’t cut losses, who will take their stock?
2. "Coins led by large enterprises" are just more sophisticated packaging
Look:
SOL — Led by FTX, VC teams → Still plummeted 97%
If it rises again later, that’s the next round of the market.
FIL — Technology star project → Halved upon launch
Whoever buys takes the loss.
APT — Supported by a bunch of well-known capital → It’s a waterfall from the start
ICP — Top global teams, academic backgrounds → Directly dropped from 400 to 3 dollars upon launch
The larger the institution's "halo":
The easier it is to attract retail investors to take their stock
So when it drops, it’s even harsher.
