My biggest mistake in this bull market was not integrating knowledge and action.
Now looking back at my previous posts, on August 25 this year, I calculated based on the four-year cycle and the timing of the market. I believed that the top of this bull market would be between August and October. Friends who have been following me for a long time should also remember that I emphasized in August and September that we were in the late stage of the bull market, urging everyone to pay attention to risks. Although many people criticized me at that time, I kept warning about the risks. The real turning point came around the National Day holiday; at the beginning of October, $BTC once again broke the historical high and went to 126,000. I felt a moment of confusion, wondering if my strategy and decisions were wrong. I doubted myself at that time. So during that period, I started to keep quiet, and then on October 9, when Trump started making noise, I reduced my position to 60% and also reminded everyone in my group to reduce their positions. The reason was that I was afraid Trump would create another black swan event. I didn't expect to wake up to the 1011 black swan event, and then the market turned bearish until now.
Looking back now, I really hate myself, and I also hate the market manipulators. I worked hard for so long, yet I still didn’t achieve the results I wanted. I started to look bullish in this round of the bull market in June 2023, from Weibo to Binance Square, and by March 2024, I had cleared most of my altcoins for BTC. In September 2024, I gradually switched BTC back to altcoins, and then in January 2025, when Trump issued MENE coin $TRUMP , I sold off most of my altcoins again. Then in May and June 2025, I began to buy ETH in batches. I thought I did quite well in this round of the bull market; this October I also reached the target A9 I had always wanted. However, after $BTC once again broke the historical high in early October, another 1011 black swan event came, causing my funds to shrink by more than half. The profit from this bull market has retraced by 50%. Just thinking about this makes me feel very uncomfortable. I clearly calculated that the top would be from August to October; why was I still greedy? Why did I only reduce my position when I saw Trump causing trouble instead of clearing out completely? Why couldn't I be more decisive? Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about these things and scold myself for being useless. But perhaps this round can only be like this; I definitely feel uncomfortable. I hope the next round will be better.
