🇮🇷 🚢 Iran has mandated that all vessels must request permission in advance and adhere to the maritime routes designated by the country.

According to the new regulations, ships must submit a transit request at least 48 hours before passing through the Strait, and they are required to have mandatory insurance. However, during the 60-day negotiation period under the ceasefire agreement between the US and Iran, these insurance fees will be temporarily waived.

Additionally, all vessels must follow the designated shipping corridor near the Iranian coastline. Alternative routes will not be permitted.

This is information that’s circulating widely, but it’s not too surprising since the MoU clearly states that these fees will not apply for 60 days. After that, everything will depend on the final agreement between both parties. $CL
