Ripple partners with Swiss bank Amina to provide payment infrastructure
According to Cointelegraph, blockchain service company Ripple's payment subsidiary has partnered with Swiss bank Amina to provide payment infrastructure. Ripple Payments announced that Amina will be able to settle transactions more efficiently, reduce costs, and increase transparency. Previously, Amina integrated Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin in July.
Amina's Chief Product Officer Myles Harrison stated that stablecoins can help address friction in the traditional banking system, especially in cross-border transactions. Ripple Payments allows Amina to offer payment services that process both fiat and stablecoins simultaneously.
