Ripple Transfers $152M XRP to Binance Amid Wallet Reshuffle and ETF Inflows

Ripple transferred 75.3 million $XRP worth approximately $153 million to a wallet linked to Binance, according to Whale Alert, drawing market attention due to the transaction’s size and potential implications. The transfer originated from a Ripple-controlled wallet, moved through an internal subwallet, and ultimately reached a Binance-activated address. This activity followed a broader wallet reshuffling by Ripple, during which over 600 million XRP were redistributed across subwallets and new wallets.

While Whale Alert also flagged a separate 90 million XRP transfer valued near $185 million, on-chain data later confirmed this movement was internal to eToro wallets and not related to exchange inflows. Nonetheless, the Ripple-to-Binance transfer raised speculation of possible selling pressure, as similar transfers in the past have preceded short-term price declines.

From a technical perspective, XRP remains in a descending channel that has persisted since October, after failing to sustain a breakout toward $3 following the October 10 market crash. Analysts indicate that a decisive break above $2.28 could reignite bullish momentum toward $2.75. At the time of writing, XRP trades near $2.04, posting a modest intraday gain, with trading volume down roughly 30%, signaling reduced trader engagement.

Despite near-term caution, spot XRP ETFs continue to attract capital, recording $16.42 million in daily inflows, with cumulative net inflows approaching $1 billion. The launch and participation of products such as the 21Shares XRP ETF (TOXR) highlight growing institutional interest, offering longer-term support for $XRP despite short-term volatility risks.
