Every time I make a transaction in the P2P market to swap my funds for cryptocurrencies like $BTC, $ETH , or BNB, I encounter the same reality in the chat: a block of ice. Automated texts with trading conditions have completely replaced basic courtesy. There's rarely an initial greeting or a thank you at the end.
Despite this cold digital environment, I stick to the habit of greeting and expressing gratitude. It doesn’t matter if I'm buying or shorting; I understand there’s a person providing a service. What’s wrong with keeping it cordial?
The other day, while I was trading and watching the candlestick chart of $BTC to capitalize on a market movement, my son saw me typing my usual greetings in the P2P chat. His reaction was to protest: "What are you doing? No one is going to respond to you." My reply was simple:
"You’ve got to be kind, even if you think you’re talking to an AI or a robot."
In a world full of algorithms, automation, and market analysis, we must not lose our empathy. Maintaining courtesy is what defines us as human beings. Being kind costs nothing, but adds the human value that technology cannot replicate.
So, do you greet in your P2P orders or do you prefer the cold anonymity?
