This year, I spent several months alone in Guizhou for work and received care from many people. The person I interacted with the most was a driver uncle. Because the places I needed to go required detours, it wasn't easy to get a taxi, and each round trip took one or two hours. However, no matter if it was a scorching sun or heavy rain, whether it was early in the morning around five or in the evening around six or seven, as long as I called him, he would definitely come to pick me up and take me. In fact, he doesn't earn much money; he treats me like a child in his own family. Therefore, on ordinary days, I sometimes pay a little extra for the fare, sometimes bring him some fruits or snacks, and sometimes treat him to lunch. He also takes care of me; several times he suddenly took out some fruits and snacks for me when he realized that I sometimes didn't have time for breakfast. Sometimes, I've said things that he silently remembered and then tried to help me solve, which moved me greatly. Kindness is flowing.
I have also encountered other drivers. When I got in the car, I found that he was in a bad mood for some reasons. Coincidentally, we passed by a place selling breakfast, so I bought breakfast and also got him a portion. Later, he was very happy chatting with me along the way, and I arrived at my destination safely.
During that time, I often went to a restaurant where the uncles and aunts took good care of me, actively giving me the best prices. However, they always served me a lot of food. I would say I couldn't finish it, but the next time it was always a large portion. The uncle would give me a lot of meat each time, and once when I packed it to go, I found he had even packed a lot of meat in the rice. I was really touched. They often invited me to eat with them, but I insisted on paying every time. The uncle always said, 'Tell me what you want to eat, and I can make it for you.'
I also met a young lady who runs a hotel; she often takes care of me. I encountered a grandmother selling vegetables who would greet me happily every time she saw me and would give me many things when I bought vegetables. I always worried she might lose money. I also met an elderly grandmother who had a hard life but treated me with the greatest kindness and warmth. Everyone's life is not easy, and I try to support their businesses as much as possible. There are also many uncles and aunts who run businesses, and they all care for me a lot. Many friends are also very kind to me. It really makes me feel a strong sense of human warmth.
Although we are all from the bottom class, everyone is very kind and lovely. Try to be nice to others.
Between heaven and earth, there is beautiful space, and so it is between people. When I left, I specifically took two or three days to take many photos for them, and I am recently preparing to print and mail them.
Life is unpredictable. After recognizing the truth of life, we still love life and choose to be a sincere and simple person.
