🛑 LOOKS GREAT… BUT WHEN THE RAIN COMES, IT’S “SCREAMINGLY TERRIBLE”!

Just one heavy downpour for 15–20 minutes, and this drainage system can turn into a “time bomb”! 💣🌧️

❌ The biggest concern is that the pipes are bent too many times at 90° and there are sections that run nearly level, with almost no slope. The result is:

👉 Slow drainage, with water easily backing up into the soffit/sump.
👉 Leaves, sand, and trash get stuck right at the curves, making blockages very hard to clear.
👉 Risk of roof overflow, wall seepage, and damage to the structure during heavy rain.

✅ The technically correct solution:

* Limit 90° bends; prioritize two 45° bends instead for smoother flow.
* Any horizontal pipe section must have a minimum slope of 2%.
* If conditions allow, route the pipe straight down to the underside of the roof or down to the ground to minimize flow obstruction as much as possible.
