🇷🇺 Russian lawmaker says Bitcoin and crypto will never be legal payment methods, only investment assets.

​Senior lawmakers, including Anatoly Aksakov (Chairman of the State Duma’s Committee on Financial Markets), have reiterated that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will never be recognized as legal tender for domestic payments.

🔸️​Status: Using crypto to buy coffee or groceries remains illegal.

🔸️​The Goal: To protect the sovereignty of the Russian ruble and prevent the "crypto-ization" of the domestic economy.
