Quantitative trading, the most important thing is not the technology, but rather?
First, it’s really frustrating when the stocks I heavily invested in crash.
Second, while learning about quantitative trading, I realized that technology is the simplest part; the core is my own strategy. With a strategy, I can tell the computer what to do. So, I’ve been frantically reading books lately, such as on the Chen theory and trend trading methods. I know there is no holy grail in trading; I just want to find a trading model that suits me and then implement it in code. This should be quite interesting, right?
