On December 17, 2025, Changpeng Zhao (CZ), the founder of Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, issued important warnings regarding altcoin listings, following Binance's announcement of a new three-phase project listing system: Binance Alpha, then Binance Futures, and finally Binance Spot.

Key Warnings from CZ:

- Anyone or entity claiming to be able to help a project list on Binance is certainly a scammer.

- People do not trust individuals who present themselves as agents or advisors or former or current employees at Binance.

- No one at Binance has the authority to assist with listings.

Personal experience shared by CZ:

As an example, CZ mentioned that a head of state recently reached out to him privately and asked if he could help their company list on Binance, to which CZ clearly responded that this was not possible.

CZ Tips:

- If someone sees any person (including agents, advisors, or former or current employees) making such claims, they should be reported immediately.

- These individuals will be blacklisted, and their identities may be publicly disclosed in some cases.

CZ's statements aim to protect investors and projects from the increasing fraud related to listings on major platforms, especially with the rise of scams exploiting the Binance name.
