#HYPE wants to destroy 1 billion dollars worth of coins. Is this ticket worth following?

Hyper Foundation has made a bold move, proposing to directly destroy 37 million HYPE from the aid fund, accounting for 13% of the circulation, with an approximate value of 1 billion dollars.

Validator voting is currently underway, with results expected by December 24th. The current price is hovering around 27.4, having dropped more than 30% in the past month, but this level of destruction is indeed quite significant.
