ME News reported on December 18 (UTC+8) that the Polygon Foundation announced on the X platform that there was a failure in the Polygon PoS today, affecting some RPC nodes. However, the network remained online and continuously generated blocks throughout the event, with no interruptions on-chain. The team quickly identified the issue and pushed a patch to the node operators to restore full service to the nodes. Currently, validators are synchronizing data and reaching the required number. During this time, some RPC nodes are still operating normally, and transactions can flow in and be processed without issues. The block explorer may still display delays until the nodes complete synchronization. Additionally, according to the latest updates on the Polygon status page, the related issues have now been resolved, and all functions of Polygon PoS have been restored. The block explorer may still show delays until the nodes finish synchronization. (Source: ME)
