📰【December 15 News Event Key Focus Overview】
On December 18 (Thursday) at 21:30, the United States will release the November Consumer Price Index (CPI) report, which is expected to show a slight increase in inflation. Economists predict that the year-on-year CPI for November may rise slightly from 3.0% in September to 3.1%. The core CPI, excluding food and energy, is expected to record 3% year-on-year. Due to the government shutdown, most data for October could not be collected, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has canceled the release of the October CPI data. This also means that the BLS will be unable to provide the month-on-month data for November. A BLS spokesperson stated: "The upcoming press release and database update will not include the month-on-month percentage change data for November 2025 due to the lack of data for October 2025."
