Goldlend officially launches a decentralized liquidation auction system, creating new profit scenarios for Berachain users.
Operating Mechanism:
- Loan not repaid by due date → Triggers 48-hour on-chain auction
- Users can bid on liquidation assets using $HONEY
- Bids must exceed the debt amount to be accepted
- Winning bidders can directly claim assets at a discounted price
- If no one bids, the assets will enter manual liquidation by the Treasury
This design strikes a balance between decentralized liquidation, price discovery, and protocol security, while also providing users the opportunity to acquire assets below fair value.
