62 hours after the tragedy, today Venezuelans ask ourselves why we have to be so harshly punished.
We know that natural disasters are inevitable since they are part of the land where we live. God, Creator of the universe, is the only one who decides when and why the punishments happen, and what we are experiencing today in Venezuela is a very severe punishment from the Creator.
Something we donโt understand is why the repression is still going on under the Venezuelan regime instead of automatically activating the nationโs rescue teams. More than 48 hours had to pass before searches began for people with life who were still trapped beneath the rubble, and it was not the Venezuelan rescue forces, but foreign rescue forces coming from: El Salvador, Mexico, Germany, the Dominican Republic, the USA, Peru, and other nations.
We cannot be so insensitive and let our Venezuelan brothers die.
The Venezuelan regime, led by the dictator Delcy Rodrรญguez, is neither trained nor willing to help its people, but it is prepared to repress them.
We thank all the nations of the world that have shown solidarity with our people, and may God repay them for everything they have done for us.
