🇹🇼 TAIWAN GOVERNMENT REVEALS AMOUNT OF BITCOIN HELD
🔸 The Ministry of Justice of Taiwan has stated that it currently holds over 210 Bitcoin seized from criminal cases, worth approximately 18 million USD at current prices, ranking about 10th globally in terms of BTC held by the government.
🔸 This Bitcoin comes from financial cases and illegal crypto activities, not purchased for investment. The government has not announced plans to sell, auction, or hold this Bitcoin long-term.
🔸 Globally, governments are holding over 640,000 Bitcoin, mainly from seizures by law enforcement agencies.
