Here are the critical steps to recover your account if you lose your physical security key:

Log in and, when prompted for the key, select "Security verification not available". This will initiate the automatic recovery process for users who have lost their physical two-factor authentication device.

You must complete alternative verification methods. Enter the codes sent to your email and cell phone. These initial steps confirm that you still maintain control over your registered basic communication channels.

Complete the mandatory identity verification (KYC). Scan your official document and perform live facial recognition. Binance will compare this data with previous records to ensure that you are the account holder.

The Binance team will manually review your request. The process usually takes 24 to 48 hours. For security reasons, fund withdrawals will be temporarily blocked after regaining access to your account.

Upon regaining access, remove the lost key and link a new one immediately. Always store backup codes in a safe and offline location to avoid similar issues in the future.
