Today, the Cybersecurity Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security issued a document (Clean Internet - 2025 | Cyber Police cracked down on illegal activities related to “virtual currency”), specifically reiterating the Ministry of Public Security’s efforts to combat virtual currency crimes. In conjunction with the crackdown on virtual currency trading speculation meeting of the thirteen departments on November 28, 2025, and the risk warning from seven associations on December 5 regarding the prevention of illegal activities related to virtual currencies, along with the Ministry of Public Security's repeated emphasis in relevant meetings, it will continue to maintain a high-pressure crackdown on crimes related to virtual currencies.
