According to the investigation, the victim disclosed his investment in Bitcoin to a worker during office renovations, and subsequently, in November 2024, was robbed at gunpoint by an armed gang.
The criminal gang forced the victim to transfer Bitcoin valued at approximately $54,000 within about an hour and stole a truck, mobile phone, and laptop worth $36,200. The police tracked digital transactions and discovered that the suspects created shell companies for money laundering, with most suspects having criminal records and connections to the construction industry.
