This vote took place from October 28, 2025, to October 31, 2025, with the Triones node passing the proposal with 117 million votes. This adjustment involves not only technical updates but also reflects the community's cultural consensus on long-term sustainability, enhanced liquidity, and support for developers. The adjustments include the permanent destruction of 200 million ONG, fixing the maximum and total supply at 800 million ONG, and permanently locking assets worth 100 million ONG in the new liquidity mechanism. Additionally, the release cycle of ONG has been extended to approximately 19 years, maintaining a stable release rate of 1 ONG per second. Previously, Binance announced support for the Ontology (ONT) network upgrade and hard fork, and the Ontology community approved the ONG token economic adjustment proposal, reducing the total supply to 800 million and permanently locking 100 million in valued assets.
