The Marshall Islands have launched $200 cryptocurrency payments to their citizens.

Each of the 42,000 residents of the archipelago will receive stablecoins to their account via transfers from the government wallet once a quarter.

This basic income program has become a form of social support for the population due to the recent rise in the cost of living.
