The creator of Cardano (ADA) believes that U.S. President Donald Trump harmed the cryptocurrency industry with his actions.

Among the members of the crypto community, there is an opinion that Trump's victory in the elections benefited the digital asset industry and led to a softening of the regulations on virtual currencies. To convince everyone of the successes achieved during Donald's time, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt recently reported the official end of the war on cryptocurrencies, initiated by former American leader Joe Biden.

However, Hoskinson was not fooled by this populist statement and negatively assessed the consequences of Donald's rise to power. In a recent interview, he noted:

At the very moment when the Trump meme coin was released, the narrative shifted from 'both parties support cryptocurrency' [Republican and Democratic] to 'cryptocurrency=Trump=bad=corruption.' This concept runs like a red thread throughout the campaign leading up to the midterm elections in 2026.

According to Charles, other prominent figures in the crypto industry are staying silent about Donald's detrimental influence on the digital asset sector, pursuing selfish motives. However, Hoskinson believes the situation will change once power shifts to the Democrats.

We were told, 'Be quiet. Don't talk about it, otherwise you will lose access. You won't be able to meet with the president and participate in the legislative development process,' Charles added.
