BlackRock is hiring senior specialists in cryptography to strengthen its digital asset strategy in the US and Asia. The asset manager announced six new positions in the United States and one in Singapore, with roles focused on research, product development, and leadership in blockchain initiatives. In the US, a specialist will oversee the expansion of BlackRock's iShares digital asset ETF line, including the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), while others will drive the launch of new products and commercial growth.

The seventh role, based in Singapore, will lead the regional strategy, set a business objective, and then identify new opportunities in tokenization and blockchain infrastructure. Bringing in experienced specialists in cryptography, BlackRock is ramping up its push for digital assets.
