Cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) will soar in 2026, with more than 100 new ETF applications expected and billions of dollars in net inflows flowing into these investment vehicles, according to analysts.
Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg, predicted a baseline scenario of $15 billion in capital flows in 2026 and up to $40 billion if market conditions improve. The U.S. Federal Reserve will "likely" lower the interest rate in 2026, pushing net inflows towards the mid or upper limits of the estimate, Balchunas told Cointelegraph.
