🚨🚨LOST 50 MILLION DOLLARS JUST BECAUSE OF A WRONG COPY-PASTE OF THE WALLET ADDRESS 😱

A person just lost 50 million dollars due to a disastrous mistake when transferring U.S.D.T.

🙅The scam scenario unfolded as follows:

Before making a large transfer, the victim tested by sending 50 USDT to their wallet address (0xbaf4b1aF...B6495F8b5).

The scammer immediately created a fake wallet with the first 4 and last 4 digits of the address identical and launched a fake address attack!

👀Since many wallets only display the beginning + end + "..." in the middle, the victim got used to copying the address from transaction history and only checked the first/last 4 digits.

Malware on the machine automatically changed the address to another one but kept the first and last 4 digits matching the victim's address.

🤔When transferring the remaining amount of 49,999,950 USDT, the victim mistakenly pasted the fake address → the money went straight into the scammer's pocket!

Now, when making a large transfer, make sure to check the middle part carefully, as this trick is too sophisticated to notice 😭
