Real Talk in the Crypto World: From 7000U to 38 million, it's not luck that helped me, but these 9 survival rules
In the crypto world over the years, no motivational speeches, no dream building. The truth is just one sentence: what enabled me to start with 7000U and achieve 38 million in three years, with monthly returns sometimes exceeding 70%, was never insider information or luck, but a set of counterintuitive disciplines that allowed me to survive.
1️⃣ First diversify, then talk about profits
Divide the funds into 5 parts, using only 1 part at a time. Limit single transaction losses to 10%, and account drawdown should not exceed 2%. Even if I make five mistakes in a row, I only lose 10%. But when I win once, the target must reach 10%+.
Survival is the qualification for a comeback.
2️⃣ Only follow the trend, do not resist
A rebound during a decline is a trap, while a pullback during an uptrend is an opportunity. Going against the trend is not bravery, it's just giving away money.
3️⃣ Stay away from “crazy coins”
Coins that spike in the short term and are fueled by emotions, no matter how good the story is, are blacklisted.
Remember, the last baton is always picked up by retail investors.
4️⃣ Signal as the only standard
Golden cross above the 0 axis → only then consider entering; death cross below the 0 axis → immediately reduce positions. If it doesn't meet the signal, don’t deceive yourself.
5️⃣ Never average down on losses
Averaging down on costs is the first step for retail investors towards liquidation. Only add to positions that are making profits; do not touch those that are losing.
6️⃣ Look at volume before price
Breakout after consolidation at low levels → opportunity; high volume but stagnant at high levels → danger. Volume is a forecast for future prices.
7️⃣ Only ride “uphill horses”
The trend looks simple: use the 3-day line for short-term trades, 30-day line for medium-term trades, the 84-day line to catch major uptrends, and the 120-day line for long-term bottoms. Only trade in the same direction as the trend.
8️⃣ Three questions for every trade
Has the logic of holding changed? Has the weekly structure deteriorated? Has the major trend reversed?
One “yes” means reduce position or exit.
9️⃣ Turn on the light
Before, you walked in the market in the dark, now the rules are that light. Strictly implement them, and you can avoid 80% of the pitfalls.
